A big sister times two! Meghan King Edmonds, who recently revealed she is expecting twins, told Us Weekly exclusively why she and her husband, Jim Edmonds, think their 13-month-old daughter Aspen will be excited about being a big sister.
“We are very excited to expand our family by two bounding bundles of boys!” the Real Housewives of Orange County star told Us Weekly exclusively. “Aspen loves our dog, Girly Girl, and all her baby dolls, so we think she’ll be excited to be a big sister times two!”
As previously reported, Meghan, 33, announced she was pregnant with twins on Thursday, December 21.
“Surprise, surprise! We’re having TWINS! Oh boy oh boy! #doubletrouble #threeundertwo,” the Bravo reality star captioned an adorable picture of Jim, Aspen and her dog, Girly Girl via Instagram.
The family shot featured a sign that read “Our family is growing by four feet and two heartbeats.” The former MLB star also shared the news on his Instagram.
“Edmonds twins coming soon. 🤰🎟🎟 we are excited to announce our new news. #lookoutworld,” Jim, who has four children from two previous marriages, wrote on Thursday.
Meghan and Jim, who tied the knot in October 2014, have shared their journey to have children and get pregnant through IVF on RHOC. The reality TV personality told her costars she was pregnant at the season 12 reunion, which aired last month.
“It was so hard for us to keep it a secret from everyone especially since we shared our entire IVF journey with Aspen on RHOC from the very beginning,” Meghan wrote on her blog in November, hours before the RHOC reunion aired. “Tonight on the RHOC reunion you’ll see that I’m only one month pregnant, but that was filmed five weeks ago: we are now 10 weeks pregnant (and I’m feeling every bit of it)!”
