Those pipes! Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth just had their very own carpool karaoke session — and not with The Late Late Show host James Corden.
The couple belted out Justin Bieber’s hit “Love Yourself” as Cyrus, 23, sat in the passenger seat and the Aussie actor, 26, sat behind the wheel. Cyrus filmed the hilarious moment, but showed only her face and her new beagle, named Barbie, on camera.
“BGVs: @liamhemsworth,” Cyrus captioned the clip via Instagram on Monday, August 1. “Starring: Barbie Da Beagle @beaglefreedom.”
Barbie’s appearance was adorable, but it was Hemsworth who really stole the show. Off camera, the Independence Day: Resurgence star tried to hit every note of the song. At one point, he even appeared to joke that the pair were about to hit something on the road.
“Babe, stop!” Cyrus screamed. “Seriously!”
As previously reported, Cyrus and Hemsworth called off their engagement in September 2013 and got back together in January. Cyrus was spotted wearing her Neil Lane engagement ring again in March.
Hemsworth opened up about their split and rekindled romance in an interview with GQ Australia. “Of course it was hard, man,” he said in the June/July issue. “But we were both going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time — we both needed that.”
Now the two are planning their wedding again. In June, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that they want to exchange vows on the beach. Cyrus’ dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, offered to officiate the ceremony — or anyone’s for that matter.
“They’re really happy together right now,” he told Us that same month. “They know if they need a preacher, they’ve found one.”
