No dating for Ronnie! Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is completely focused on himself and his daughter and not filming any sort of dating show, a source close to the 33-year-old tells Us Weekly.
Jen Harley, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star’s on-off girlfriend and the mother of his 10-month-old daughter, Ariana, shared a cryptic message that was seemingly directed toward him on February 6, accusing him ditching her for a new show.
“I’m sorry but if you go away for 6 weeks to become a better boyfriend, father person etc to work on your family but you choose to cancel all of our plans on Valentine’s Day so you can appear on a dating show bc you need the money that bad over your family … your [sic] a joke,” Harley, 31, wrote on her Instagram Story, then later deleted. “How did you better anything?? You continue to put us back in the same position by doing the same things that put us there in the first place.”
Us Weekly broke the news on Tuesday, February 12, that Ortiz-Magro has spent the past month in a treatment facility in Florida, seeking help for alcohol abuse and depression. He left the facility on Friday, February 8.
“I decided to go to treatment because I wanted to be a better person, a better father for my daughter,” he told Us. “Eventually, all the bad decisions I was making were going to lead me to places that I didn’t want to be. I wanted to be led to the place that I am now – that’s happy, healthy and the best role model for my daughter.”
The duo last made headlines following a New Year’s Eve altercation in Las Vegas. Ortiz-Magro filed a battery report against Harley after she allegedly threw an ashtray at him. Us also obtained photos following the incident that showed the MTV star with a swollen nose, bruise on his head and gashes on his neck and forehead.
