Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is embracing the softer life.
The TLC personality, 57, gushed over her new boyfriend, Pete, in a new Instagram post shared Wednesday, September 16, while opening up about the little ways he makes her feel appreciated.
“Pete drives, he opens my car door, and he makes sure I’m taken care of 🤍🤍 He spoils me in lots of old fashioned ways. I could get used to this 😀,” Janelle wrote in the caption of a clip showing her man behind the wheel while she sat next to him with a big smile on her face. “A nod to my ‘passenger princess’ era. I’m not sure I’ve ever been one before but I could get used to this.”
Janelle continued in the comments section, “And he gives me the luggage rack 🩷. For all of those asking. I’ve never had someone watch out for, and take care of me like he does 😍.”
The reality TV star went public with Pete in August, roughly four years after she announced her split from ex-husband Kody Brown, with whom she shared six children. (One of the former couple’s sons, Garrison, died by suicide in March 2024.)
Christine Brown was the first of Kody’s four wives to leave the plural family in November 2021. Janelle later announced her decision to call it quits during the season 17 Sister Wives tell-all special in December 2022, shortly before Meri Brown and Kody parted ways.
The exes released a joint statement at the time, which read, “After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.”
Meri, 55, and Kody, 57, continued, “We are committed to kindness and respect toward each other and to all members of our family, and we are also committed to the continued healing of any and all relationships within the family so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love.”
Following the plural family’s shakeup, Kody is currently only married to fourth wife Robyn Brown.
Similar to Janelle, Christine, 54, has also moved on romantically. She wed David Woolley in 2023.
While the new men are expected to appear on the upcoming season of Sister Wives, fans were surprised to learn that Kody and Robyn, 47, will be leaving after nearly two decades.
“After 16 years of filming Sister Wives, Kody & Robyn will not be returning to the show,” the season 21 trailer revealed earlier this month.
Janelle, for one, was shocked, telling the cameras, “I was flabbergasted, really, when I got the news.”
