Stephen Amell is officially one hot dad! The Arrow actor and his wife Cassandra Jean welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The proud new papa shared his excitement via his official Facebook page on Saturday, Oct. 19 — also with a glimpse of the new bundle of joy!
The baby girl’s name? Mavi Alexandra Jean Amell, Just Jared confirms.
“She came just in time for Amell Wednesdays,” the 32-year-old actor wrote. Alongside the caption, the beaming new dad shared a photo of himself holding his little girl in the couple’s hospital room while watching an episode of The Tomorrow People on the CW. (His younger brother Robbie Amell, 25, stars in the freshman series.)
Jean, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, confirmed in June that she and Amell were expecting their first child together to ET Canada.
“I’m excited — no I’m not excited, I’m very excited!” Amell previously told ET Canada about becoming a father. “I’m sure that nervous energy will accompany that eventually, but only in a positive way.”
Jean, 27, added: “I haven’t had any cravings, but [Stephen’s] been great.”
