
Stephen Amell

Born May 8, 1981, in Toronto, Canada, actor Stephen Amell is best known for playing the titular comic book character on The CW’s Arrow.
Amell got his big break in 2004 when he played a spinning instructor in Showtime’s Queer as Folk. He later appeared in episodes of CSI: Miami, The Vampire Diaries, 90210, Hung, New Girl and Private Practice. In May 2011, the actor portrayed Joran van der Sloot in the Lifetime movie Justice for Natalee Holloway.
After eight seasons playing Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, the superhero drama concluded in 2020. The actor went on to lead the Starz wrestling drama Heels, which debuted in 2021.
The Nocking Point Wines cofounder married Cassandra Jean, who made a surprise exit during Cycle 5 of America’s Next Top Model, in December 2012. They share two children, daughter Maverick Alexandra, born in October 2013, and son Bowen Auguste, born in May 2022.
