Baywatch’s Official Trailer Teases Paternity Reveal, Noah Beck Romance and Surprise Cast Cameos

The first look at season 1 of Baywatch trailer is full of paternity twists, surprise cameos and slow-motion running, with Brooks Nader stealing the show.

Fox released the first look on Tuesday, October 13, where Hobie (Stephen Amell) meets his daughter, Charlie (Jessica Belkin). Hobie wants to build a relationship with his daughter as she tries to join his workplace as a lifeguard.

Along the way, Charlie forms a connection with Luke (Noah Beck). Sparks also fly between Trina (Shay Mitchell) and Brad (Thaddeus LaGrone). Elsewhere in the promo, Hobie confides in Nat (Hassie Harrison) while Selene (Nader) appears on multiple occasions to save the day.

There are also cameos from OG cast member David Chokachi — and even Meg the Stallion.

Baywatch, which ran from 1989 to 2001, centered around the lives of lifeguards who worked on California (and Hawaii) beaches while dealing with a variety of situations including earthquakes, shark attacks and serial killers. At one point during its run in the ’90s, Baywatch made history as the most-watched television series in the world.

The series had dozens of cast shakeups over the years but ultimately turned into a cultural phenomenon. Some of the show’s memorable cast members include Nicole Eggert, Carmen Electra, David Hasselhoff, Billy Warlock, Alexandra Paul, Jeremy Jackson, Traci Bingham and Erika Eleniak.

In September 2025, Fox announced that a “reimagined” version of the iconic series is coming to the network. Joining the cast of the reboot came with a lot of hard work behind the scenes — including lifeguard training.

“It’s physically one of the most demanding roles I’ve ever done,” Harrison, 36, told Us in May about preparing to suit up on the show. “[Then there’s] the mental aspect where I try to say nice things to myself some days but other days it’s harder.”

She continued: “But what an honor that we’ve got cast and chosen for this role. We just want to give it our best.”

Harrison was thrilled to join such a legendary franchise.

“I feel like Baywatch is as iconic as the Hollywood sign. You can go anywhere in the world if people know Baywatch,” Harrison noted. “So in that way, they were big shoes to fill. There’s a lot of expectation on us and I hope we meet that. I hope everybody loves what we’re doing.”

The reboot, which received a straight-to-series order, will feature 12 episodes in its debut season. Amell, 45, for his part, previously spoke to Us about the surprises coming up on screen in season 1.

“Of course we could [have cameos and surprises],” Amell told Us earlier this year. “I specifically told them not to tell me. I’ve learned that over time because I will have a lot of things flooding the zone that is my brain.”

He continued: “So in order to not be completely and totally overwhelmed, I just allow myself to be surprised with the script.”

Baywatch premieres on Fox in January 2027.
