Teen Mom 2’s Nathan Griffith was arrested on a traffic violation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Sunday, February 25.

Griffith — the ex-fiance of TM2’s Jenelle Evans — was “issued a ticket, arrested and charged with striking fixtures while driving on a highway and a failure to report these collisions,” a spokesperson for the Myrtle Beach Police Department tells Us Weekly.

“He hit fixtures on the highway and then left the scene,” the spokesperson adds. “He was released at 5:30 a.m. on a $464 bond.” Radar Online was the first to report the news.

As previously reported, Griffith and Evans continued to quarrel following their split in 2015. In September 2017, the two were embroiled in a custody battle over their son, Kaiser, 3. According to legal documents obtained by Radar Online at the time, Doris Davidson — the mother of Griffith — filed for emergency temporary custody of the toddler.

Davidson claimed that Evans’ 9-month-old daughter, Ensley Eason, tested positive for marijuana at the time of her birth in January 2017 and that the Department of Social Services investigated and found that both Evans and her husband, David Eason — with whom she shares Ensley — had marijuana in their system.

Evans and Eason, who married in September 2017, were also engulfed in a fight with Griffith and his girlfriend, Ashley Lanhart, at the Teen Mom 2 reunion in October. Evans claimed that Lanhart “attacked” her backstage, to which Griffith later called “a straight lie.”

Griffith isn’t the first ex of Evans to find himself in legal trouble recently. Us Weekly confirmed the arrest of Kieffer Delp — who Evans dated on and off for years and was featured on the first four seasons of Teen Mom 2 — for allegedly running a meth lab in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, on January 10.

Earlier this month, Eason was fired from MTV after alleged homophobic tweets surfaced. “David Eason’s personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV,” a network spokesperson told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “With six weeks left of production on Teen Mom 2, effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him.”
