Teresa Giudice broke her silence on Twitter on Sunday, January 3, posting her first tweet since being released from prison.
"Wishing everyone a healthy and happy New Year from our family to yours!" the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 43, wrote, alongside a snap that showed her and husband Joe and their four daughters in front of their Christmas tree. Giudice had tweeted sporadically during the time she was locked away, but Sunday's message was her first since September.
The reality star — who was released from prison in late December after spending 11 months behind bars for fraud — also spoke out in a new Bravo video on December 30, as she stood in her family's mansion in Montville Township, New Jersey.
"Hi everyone, I'm back!" she said in the video. "I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It's gonna be a great 2016. Love, love, love you all."
Giudice rang in the New Year with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, and appeared in an Instagram snap Gorga shared.
"About last night," Gorga, 36, captioned the pic featuring Giudice posing front and center. "Bring it on 2016!"
As Us Weekly exclusively reported on December 30, Giudice has been following orders from her parole officer. She's also been celebrating her newfound freedom with her family in low-key moments at home, cooking and catching up with her daughters, a source told Us.
“Teresa has been welcomed back with open arms and so much love,” the source said. “Their house is truly filled with love right now. Teresa is spending time with all of her girls, catching up.”
Giudice, her husband, Joe, and their four daughters — Gia, 14, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 6 — also celebrated Christmas with Giudice’s brother, Joe Gorga, and wife Melissa at the Gorgas’ New Jersey home.
In addition to family time, the Bravo star has also been working on her physique.
“Teresa’s body has never looked better!” the insider told Us. “She is in amazing shape. She is so toned from so much yoga. Teresa is in the best physical shape of her life.”
She's also currently filming RHONJ, which her probation officer is allowing, according to the insider.
