Meet Kris Jenner’s Inner Circle: From Lifelong Friends to Celebrity BFFs

Everyone wants to hang out with the coolest mom in Hollywood. Kris Jenner became close friends with Jennifer Lawrence after the Oscar winner frequently expressed her obsession with the iconic momager — but she isn't the reality star's only A-list pal. “She was a big Keeping Up With the Kardashians fan," the Safely cofounder told Steve Harvey of Lawrence during an episode of Steve On Watch in August 2017, shortly after photos of the pair hanging out went viral. “And somebody from her team called me up and said, ‘Would you surprise Jennifer on her birthday and give her a birthday cake, like, you’ll be the surprise.’ When I walked out with this cake, she was so excited, and we’ve had this little texting friendship from then on.” Three months later, the Silver Linings Playbook star reminisced about a wild dinner party she attended at Jenner's house while speaking with Kim Kardashian on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Jennifer came over for dinner two weeks ago, I’ve never seen my mom more drunk in our lives,” the Skims founder revealed in November 2017. “It was so funny. They had a few too many drinks for my taste.” Lawrence, for her part, recalled stripping down in Jenner's closet to try on some of her glamorous outfits. “I remember getting naked in your mom’s closet and ordering you to dress me,” the Red Sparrow actress said as a video from the bash played on the show. “I looked amazing, as you could see in that video. Is my memory correct? Did you call Kanye [West] to come up in the closet? Did you want him to style me?" [jwplayer fc4y3G0F-zhNYySv2] The reality TV matriarch confirmed the X-Men: First Class actress' hijinks a few weeks later. “We started having a few cocktails, and we were having so much fun. And as girls do when they all get together, we ended up in my closet, looking at clothes and some stuff, and she started trying some stuff on,” Jenner recounted during an appearance on Steve On Watch in November 2017. “She just took off her jeans and went for it." In addition to her headline-grabbing friendships with A-listers like Lawrence, Jenner has continued to surround herself with lifelong friends like Faye Resnick, whom she described as her "OG ride or die" in July 2022. "What an amazing few decades we have had together!" the California native wrote via Instagram at the time while celebrating the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's birthday. "You are the most fabulous BFF, friend, mother, sister, auntie, traveling partner, therapist, and you know how to make the best margarita on the planet." Jenner continued: "You are so loyal, kind, smart, funny, supportive, generous, beautiful inside and out and have such great business sense. I am beyond blessed to have you in my life. Faye Resnick

Jenner has opened up about her decades-long friendship with Resnick multiple times over the years, and the interior designer made several appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians before its 2021 series finale. "The one person that I can always talk to about anything is one of my best friends, Faye, and I know she will not be the one to judge me," Jenner said in a May 2020 episode of the E! reality series. "She'll be the one to understand."

Kyle Richards

"I've known Kris for so many years, forever, when all the kids were babies and my nieces Paris and Nicky were friends with Kim and Khloé and Kourtney," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told New Zealand radio station The Edge in March 2017. "So I've known them forever and it's nice to have friends we've known each other before all this — before I was a Housewife and before Keeping Up With the Kardashians and all that. So we just love to hang out and laugh." 

Richards continued: "She knew my mom and so she'll talk about my mom and she's just a lot of fun. Always very supportive of me and my family, so it's nice."

Corey Gamble

After meeting at a party thrown by Jenner's former son-in-law Kanye West in 2014, she and the music manager began dating and quickly became inseparable. "He’s great. Corey is so easy and, at the same time, so smart and intelligent," she told Us Weekly exclusively in July 2018. “He’s always one step ahead of me, and he loves the kids, and the kids love him, and he loves the grandchildren. He really is such a great guy.”

Shelli Azoff

Jenner met Azoff — who is the mother of Kardashian's BFF Allison Statter — when they were just 20 years old, and the duo have remained close friends in the decades since. "I cherish every single memory that we have made together… The last 45 years have been incredible and I can’t wait to share the next chapter with you and create some more," the And All Things Kardashian author wrote via Instagram in June 2022 while celebrating her friend's birthday. "I am so proud of you always and so blessed to have you in my life to share this beautiful life with."

Chrissy Teigen

The pair — who became close after the cookbook author befriended Kardashian — teamed up with Good American CEO Emma Grede to launch a plant-based cleaner company called Safely in March 2021. "Kris and I have been friends for so, so long," Teigen told Elle magazine at the time. "Her brain is just incredible in the way that it works. And I still find myself wanting to impress her so much. And it's not intimidation. It's just I have this complete admiration of her. Knowing that you're with someone like Kris, you feel safe, and you're going to have a good time because she’s truly so hysterical and down-to-earth. We both have so much in common, oddly enough, that this was not working at all."

Jenner has cited the fashion designer as one of her business mentors as well as a friend, writing via Instagram in March 2022 that he has "been so special to me and taught me so much through the years and I have learned so much from you about business, life, and friendship. ... I thank God He put you in my life and I’m so grateful, blessed and appreciative of you always."

“Olivier is like one of my kids,” Jenner told WWD about the Balmain designer in November 2019. “I feel like I’ve known him for years. We are blessed to be part of the Balmain army. He always makes us feel like family, ever since the day we met him and even still today. We love him very much.”

KUWTK fans may remember Kolker from the October 2018 episode where Jenner gifted her a face lift, but the twosome's friendship goes back decades. "I am truly grateful for 40 years of friendship and memories and shenanigans and laughter and tears and endless conversations," the Life of Kylie alum wrote via Instagram in October 2021. "So many celebrations, so many birthdays, weddings, baby showers, New Year’s Eve’s, Christmas Eve’s, tennis games and lunches at La Scala during the 80s! ... Jenner is friendly with the Italian designers, who provided the famous family with ensembles for eldest daughter Kourtney Kardashian's May 2022 wedding to Travis Barker. "Thank you Dolce & Gabbana for another amazing magical adventure with beautiful friends," the businesswoman wrote via Instagram white attending the brand's Alta Moda show in Sicily alongside Gamble three months after the nuptials.
