In it to win it! The cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 21 is slowly but surely coming together, and Us Weekly has gathered all of the latest intel in one place so that you can more easily determine who will be in the running for the Mirrorball Trophy. So, who’s in?
As Us Weekly exclusively revealed on Wednesday, Aug. 26, the Backstreet Boys singer is following in his little brother Aaron’s footsteps and joining the show. “There’s a lot of competitiveness in me,” he dished to Us, “and I think there’s a little something inside of me that says, ‘Okay, I’m going to go there and represent the Carter name and do even better than what he did!'”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum will make like frenemy Nene Leakes in Season 21, a source confirmed to Us.
The Triple Crown-winning jockey confirmed on SportsNation on Tuesday, Aug. 25, that even though he doesn’t have any rhythm and can’t dance (his words!), he’ll Rumba on the dance floor come September.
The 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin was the first celeb confirmed. “This is completely different to anything I’ve ever done in my life, I’m used to wrangling crocodiles!” the animal activist said on Good Morning America.
Bake yourself some butter-based treats to eat while watching the controversial chef twirl her way to redemption. A source confirmed to Us that Deen is joining the cast (despite the fact that it hasn’t been officially announced yet).
A source also confirmed to Us that the superstar singer will make her DWTS debut in Season 21, and the DWTS Instagram confirmed the news.
Alexa and Carlos PenaVega
The married couple will compete against each other this season, the actress and her actor/singer husband confirmed from Disneyland on Thursday, Aug. 27.
While Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe won’t be competing thanks to some not-so-fortuitous timing, there’s a chance another member of Bachelor Nation could: none other than two-time Bachelorette runner-up Nick Viall. Sources tell Us Weekly exclusively that the castoff has met with DWTS producers and could be added to the roster before the new cast is announced.
Dancing With the Stars Season 21 premieres Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The full cast — along with their pro partners — will be announced Sept. 2 on GMA.
