Goodbye Teen Mom OG, and hello Oscars? Farrah Abraham attended Elton John’s annual AIDS Foundation Academy Award Viewing Party in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 4, after Us Weekly confirmed she did not film the Teen Mom OG reunion.
Abraham rocked a sparkly red dress that matched her bright red hair for John’s 26th annual Oscar party.
As previously reported, a source confirmed to Us that the 26-year-old reality star was being replaced on the MTV series by Teen Mom 3’s Mackenzie McKee.
“I wish them all the best with the show. I’m out on a high note. This is the longest season in history and I’m their biggest star,” Abraham told Us on February 27 about the cast change-up. “I can do my own show, but I don’t want to focus on reality TV. I’m focusing on scripted opportunities but will always enjoy a good reality TV project.”
Abraham, who has been a part of the Teen Mom franchise for seven seasons and first appeared on 16 and Pregnant in 2008, is suing Viacom, saying the company “wrongfully terminated her employment because she did not conform to gender stereotype.”
In addition to her professional changes, Us exclusively confirmed that Abraham is moving on in her personal life too. The My Teenage Dream Ended author is dating stuntman Aden Stay.
“Aden is amazing,” Abraham told Us on March 1 about her new boyfriend. “I’m a lucky woman and feel blessed. We have just started our relationship and I feel like I met someone who is amazing.”
