Lindsay Hubbard is disagreeing with Andy Cohen about how long Amanda Batula was off stage during the Summer House reunion.
“It was definitely an hour, if not more,” Hubbard, 39, wrote via Threads on Thursday, June 4, in response to a clip of Cohen’s comment.
One day before, a fan called into Cohen’s SiriusXM show Radio Andy, to ask about the moment Batula, 34, walked off stage mid-reunion.
“One of our big questions was, what was the length of time that Amanda left the stage and came back? Because she seemed really pissed. It seemed like a lot of time,” the caller said.
Cohen, 58 shared that it was a “good question” before providing some behind the scenes context.
“At least 15 minutes but I’m gonna say 20 … I’m gonna say 20 or more. Yeah,” the Bravo executive replied.
During the second part of the highly anticipated Summer House reunion, Batula slipped backstage claiming that she needed to “touch up” her makeup before returning to film.
Prior to her exit, the Summer House cast were in a heated discussion about Batula’s new romance with costar West Wilson after she split from estranged husband Kyle Cooke earlier this year. Wilson previously dated Batula’s friend Ciara Miller on-and-off for years.
Cohen asked Batula about Wilson’s “inability to commit” to Miller and why she thought things would be different for them as a couple. Batula explained that she and West had “conversations” about taking things to the next level.
“We’ve talked about that privately and, like, what this would look like and what this meant, which is the only reason I feel like I’m sitting here next to him right now,” she explained.
Hubbard told Batula that she didn’t see their relationship going the distance.
“I wanted to get to a point, selfishly, where maybe I felt… I understood what was going on, because I was going to have to be honest with Ciara no matter what,” Batula responded. “No matter what. I felt embarrassed to have to say I have feelings and have kissed West, and he’s seeing someone else. I felt embarrassed having to say that to Ciara.”
Batula then got emotional and told Cohen she needed a “break.” After Batula walked off the stage, both Hubbard and Miller chided Wilson for not going after her. Wilson justified his choice to stay, explaining, “I didn’t know if the questions were going to come back to me.”
Wilson ended up going to check on Batula, who admitted that many of the remarks toward her “cut really deep” and were “really hard” for her to hear.
Part 3 of the Summer House reunion airs on Bravo Tuesday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET.
