He’s just not a fan. Tim Gunn slammed the Kardashian-Jenner family’s style on Saturday, Dec. 12, and bashed their “dumb clothes.”
“They’re dumb clothes and they’re expensive, dumb clothes,” the fashion guru, 62, told the New York Daily News of Kim Kardashian’s husband Kanye West’s Yeezus fashion line. “I’ve always said the only thing dumber than his clothes is the people who buy them. I don’t care what you wear as long as you don’t dress like a Kardashian. It’s vulgar, period. But that’s what they are. I believe that their place in history will be because of this phenomenon that really is about nothing. And aren’t people getting bored of it?”
But that’s not all. The TV personality also mixed up Kris Jenner’s ex, Caitlyn Jenner, with their 18-year-old daughter, Kylie Jenner.
“I get all the K’s confused,” Gunn admitted, adding of transgender trailblazer Caitlyn, “I have the greatest respect for what she has done and been through, but no, I’m not a fan of the style.”
Gunn has previously spoken out about West, 38, and his clothing line.
“I think they’re basic,” the Project Runway mentor told the Huffington Post last month. “If a Kardashian is wearing it, don’t. I think it’s vulgar.”
After the mom of two released her book of selfies, Selfish, Gunn sat down with Us Weekly back in June for a video interview and shared his strong sentiments about the family.
“I feel my IQ is plummeting,” he quipped.
