Tell it like it is, Kim Z! Bravo reality star Kim Zolciak Biermann got real with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! on Wednesday, Aug. 13, particularly when she was asked about certain Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The former housewife, 36, admitted that there were some aspects she misses after dramatically leaving the smash Atlanta franchise back in November 2012, in the middle of season four.
"I do miss laughing and getting out of the house… I would do certain events," she said. On the other hand, she mused: "I don't really miss the drama. You're fighting with NeNe, you had to be in a specific room. You could cut the energy with a knife."
Zolciak, who now stars on her own spin-off series, Don't Be Tardy, now in its third season, said that leaving the Housewives of Atlanta behind was a healthy decision. "NeNe and I are cool now," the mother of six said. "I was friends with her long before Housewives. I'm in a good place with her and that makes me feel better and happy."
She later added of her longtime friend, "We all know that NeNe can carry the show by herself. She's kind of funny. She's kind of funny by herself."
While she had kind words for Leakes, Zolciak did not hold back when she was asked by Cohen about other controversial Atlanta Housewives. While she would be more than happy to spend time with the Obamas or the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, she ceded that she would make excuses ("I have to brush my teeth," "I have to do laundry") to avoid spending time with Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burress.
