Finding a dress for a special occasion can be difficult. Not because we can’t find any that we like, but because the more elegant they look and feel, the heftier the price tag. If we’re only going to wear a dress for special occasions, we don’t really want to spend our entire paycheck on it, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to show up in the same outfit we’d wear to the grocery store!

Shoppers are rightfully eating up everything this dress has to offer. They’re calling it a “beautiful, understated dress” that will garner “many compliments” anywhere we wear it to. One said it has “just the right amount of elegance” for a wedding, which was definitely our first thought! But how does it fit? “Wonderfully,” according to one happy reviewer!
Let’s talk a little more about the fit. This sheath dress has a fitted silhouette, but not in a bodycon style. It lightly grazes our figure, flattering our shape and allowing room for movement. It has stretch, too!
This designer dress has a wide, round neckline and a straight hem that hits right at the knee. Its sleeves are the main attraction. They don’t loudly demand our attention, but instead capture it silently, even from across a busy room. They’re three-quarter length, with tulip-style bell cuffs, petal-like in their flowy movement, even in stillness! These types of sleeves are extremely fashionable for 2019, so we can expect all eyes to notice just how stylish we are as we walk, or dance our way across a room!

In the back of this dress, we’ll find a camouflaged back-zip closure, which is necessary for the lightly-snug, loosely-structured fit. We’ll also find a short slit at the bottom of the skirt that tucks into itself to avoid attention, but still provides that extra comfort factor, allowing us to cross our legs more easily or run that much faster to catch a flying bouquet!
This dress is currently available in six colors. For darker shades, there’s Black, Eclipse, which is a deep navy, and Eggplant, a reddish-purple with limited sizes left! For something bright and fun, Red is a must-have shade. For something more delicate, there’s Rose Pink, which has just a tinge of color. There’s also the angelic Ivory! We wouldn’t recommend wearing that one to a wedding, though — unless we’re the bride, of course!
The late Karl Lagerfeld was known for his innovative eye, acting as creative director for Chanel, Fendi and his own brand, for which this dress was designed. This piece fits true to size and demonstrates all of the best aspects the brand has to offer. Can we believe that it’s under $100? Not really. Are we going to accept it anyway and grab at least one? Of course! Who wouldn’t?
