A lot of fashion from the ‘80s is best forgotten. There were plenty of trends we’d be horrified to see come back today, but there were others that we wish never went away. Thankfully, top designers feel the same, bringing the lively spirit of the decade back in a modern way that even the biggest stars in the world are rocking!
The Adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Grey Graphic ‘80s T-Shirt is a collaboration from two of our favorite brands ever, and oh, what a beautiful collaboration it is. This top, which is only $100, was recently spotted on Kylie Jenner (who also wore the matching pants) as well as K-pop sensation BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim! Know what that means? Next time anyone spots it, it’s going to be on Us!

Jenner wore this top for a quick trip to a gas station, accessorizing with a pink bag and matching pink hair, as well as a bag of snacks in hand. That’s our kind of look. Meanwhile, Kim wore this top on tour in Berlin, pairing it with Champion sweatpants, two long braids in her hair and a sparkle at the inner corner of each eye! So much inspiration, so little time before this top starts to sell out!
This tee has short sleeves and is made of a soft, cotton jersey material with just a bit of spandex for stretch. It’s technically an athletic top from Adidas, after all, so comfort and movement were taken into ultimate account! The material is a super light heather grey, but features fun, bright, ‘80s-inspired colors in front!
This top has a rubberized logo across the chest. The words “Wang Body” take front and center in a bold pink text over skinny white stripes. Above this, we have tiny black letters that spell out “Pro Form Advanced Workout,” while on the other side, we can find “Pro-Flex” in a minty green, next to colorful logos. This text is all capitalized and the perfect vintage throwback!

This top has a curved, cropped hem, complementing the scoop neckline up top. Check out the back to find more, totally unexpected design magic. That’s right, this top has an integrated bra, all with a super cute cut-out in the center! We can see the racerback effect of a sports bra, further reinforcing the athleisure vibe, along with an upside-down Adidas Trefoil logo up toward the neck! How cool is that? Even cooler is that fact that we can slip this one layer on and be set (and supported) for the day!
Alexander Wang and Adidas working together is all we could ever dream of, and we now know what we’re wearing to our next ‘80s theme party. As well as to the gym, to the mall, to brunch and back to our couch for lounging around in style. We just really love this top, okay? And who wouldn’t? It’s everything we love: a collaboration, a celebrity-favorite and a cute crop-top!
