Shopping for great jeans can be a tricky process since we have a few requirements before a pair lands a spot in our wardrobes. We need jeans with a cut that flatters our body types, a fit that feels comfortable to wear and fabric that looks great but is also durable. We are also on the hunt for jeans that are different from the ones already in our collection. Although one can never own too many blue jeans, it’s important to keep a few more color options in the lineup for days when we just feel like doing denim differently.

With five pockets plus a zip fly and button closure, this NYDJ design has all the details we love with our favorite skinny jeans. The jeans are also meant to flatter our shapes while providing a modest design that we can wear anywhere. NYDJ created these high-waist jeans with “exclusive lift-tuck technology” meant to smooth and flatten the stomach area as well as lift the rear. The pants also have a cropped leg design which makes them great for showing off our favorite statement heels, sneakers and flats.
We especially love that the fabric blend is 80 percent cotton, which means these pants are soft and breathable! The pants are available in Deep Currant (wine) and Vintage Pewter (grey).
These grey jeans are a stylish denim choice for days when we need a neutral hue but prefer to take a break from our classic black jeans. We can wear the grey skinny jeans with a black sweater, black ankle booties and a black tote bag. The grey jeans are also great for pairing with lighter pastels. Whenever we want to dress up for work or meetings, we can slip into a frilly blouse in soft pink, flat mules and an everyday shoulder bag. For date nights, the high-waist jeans will look beautiful worn with a snug rib knit turtleneck tucked into the waist, a cape coat for extra pizzazz, pointed toe ankle boots and a clutch.

To throw a trendy print into the mix, we could pair these jeans with a houndstooth longline duster, a black camisole and black slip-on sneakers. On nights when we plan to go out, the pants will look lovely with a playful long sleeve sequin sweater and black suede over-the-knee boots.
