Everyone knows about La Mer, and most of us have probably dreamed about trying it. The brand, staying true to its name, uses “the power of the sea” to craft skincare products celebrities and shoppers just can’t get enough of. Each treatment and moisturizer is so well-loved that if we had to pick just one to start off with, we’re not sure if we could do it. La Mer understands that. That’s why it’s letting us try two of its cult favorites in one petite yet extremely powerful package!
The Mini Miracle Set by La Mer features travel-sized versions of The Concentrate and Crème de la Mer. We already know that Shay Mitchell, who recently stunned as Peach Salinger in the hugely popular You, is a dedicated fan of The Concentrate, saying she wishes she “could drink it” in the brand’s recent Instagram video!

One shopper said they were initially hesitant to try out The Concentrate, worrying their sensitive skin “might break out,” but after trying it, they were “so happy” to have tested Mitchell’s favorite product. Another shopper commented on the Crème de la Mer, loving how “it spreads beautifully” without looking or feeling greasy. One shopper called this set a go-to gift choice, stating confidently that even though it’s mini, it creates a “huge impact.” Others said this set left them “satisfied and gratified” and that their skin has become so “soft and clear” that makeup is now more of an option than a necessity!
Both products come in a drawstring pouch, which is teal, representing the color of the sea (also known as “la mer”). Both products also feature La Mer’s Miracle Broth, a nutrient-rich “elixir” which claims to renew cells to transform and revive skin for a radiant and soothed complexion.
The Concentrate is known as “a savior of the skin.” Using the Miracle Broth, it claims to reduce redness and irritation. It also may alleviate a swollen face from a night of crying while watching A Walk to Remember or The Fault in Our Stars for the 30th time or from eating too much instant ramen. Maybe both at once. That seems accurate.
The Concentrate claims to improve our skin’s natural healing process, so after using it, we may wake up to find healthier, stronger and more enviable skin in the mirror. Sounds a little intense, right? Sure, the results may be intense, but those with sensitive skin can stop backing away now. This treatment is gentle enough for sensitive skin types, and it’s nonacnegenic, so we won’t need to fret over any potential breakouts either!
To use The Concentrate, we start off by making sure our skin is clean. We can then take the product and massage it onto our face and neck using our fingers or even a device meant to enhance the benefits of our skincare by eight times. Massage in upward and outward circular motions and once the product has absorbed, follow up with moisturizer. Good thing this set already includes one!
Crème de la Mer is meant for those searching for an anti-aging product, which, hello, is all of us! It uses the Miracle Broth to “immerse skin in moisture,” which may result in a reduction of lines and wrinkles, the look of smaller pores and a noticeable firmness. Don’t be surprised if someone asks for ID at a bar!
This cream is sulfate-free and paraben-free, so, again, instead of worrying about having a reaction, we can look forward to the potential of rejuvenated skin. “Even the driest complexions” may find extreme relief and transformation!
To use Crème de la Mar, we scoop out just a little product and warm it between our fingers. A little goes a long way! We then warm the cream between our fingers for a few seconds, waiting until it turns translucent. This is an extremely important step, as it “activates” the formula for maximum effectiveness. Then we just press the product gently all over our face and neck, letting it absorb. All that’s left to do after that is awaiting results!
Whether we’re getting this Miracle set as a gift for ourselves or others, the value is no joke, and neither is the overwhelmingly positive response from skincare lovers everywhere. Who’s ready to witness the power of the sea?
