We’re feeling a little greedy. We waited so long for spring, and we’ve seriously been loving it, but we can’t help it — we’re still itching for summer to start. Sure, the warm days and barbecues that come with it are nice and all, but, most of all, we really want to bust out our summer clothes already!

This maxidress is definitely “cool for the summer,” but we can start wearing it right now! It’s the perfect transitional piece, according to almost 200 reviewers, who can’t stop describing it as “comfy” and “soft.” One called it “the perfect throw-on dress for spring” while still being “breezy enough for summer.” Another called it an “all-purpose dress,” since it’s a great go-to for anything from parties, to work, to casual hangouts, to romantic walks on the beach. Other shoppers expressed their affinity for the fabric of this dress, loving that it’s “thin and airy” but not see-through!
This dress has an “effortless” and relaxed fit, but it still manages to create shape and structure with its details. The bodice blouses out over the drawstring-cinched waist, which we can adjust to fit as tightly or loosely as we want. The dress also features a unique rounded V-neck, which leads our eyes down to the elongating, A-line skirt. Take a peek around the side of the skirt to find a slit, which allows for movement and whispering breezes to slip through and keep us cool!
While this dress has an overall simple feel, the details actually don’t end there! It has a pocket on the left side of the chest, which is a minimal way of adding maximal cuteness. This dress has short sleeves and is unlined, as the fabric is substantial enough to not require another layer underneath!

An underrated aspect of this dress is that it’s a slip-on style. No zippers, no buttons, no impossible hooks, no clasps and no snaps. It’s so easy in every way, but it’s seriously stylish and so versatile!
On chillier spring days, we’d totally pair this dress with a cropped denim jacket and flats, or even combat boots if we’re feeling edgy. When the clouds disappear, we’d trade our footwear for sandals or wedges. Extra hot? Feel free to tie up the side of this dress into a knot with a hair tie for a beachy-chic vibe!
Want to dress this piece up? No problem. Add some statement earrings and a sparkly necklace, slip on some heels and maybe even add on a silky, patterned scarf for good measure. Accessorize even further with a clutch and perhaps a pearly clip and hello, date night, here we come!
