When we see rain in the forecast, our first reaction is usually a groan, right? Rain means messy hair, baggy clothes and giant, hopefully-waterproof boots. It also usually means a bad mood, canceled plans and sacrificed style. Sure, we need rain, but it’s complicated. So how can we turn that “it’s complicated” into “in a relationship?”

No matter if we’re experiencing April showers or a freezing February, these boots have us covered. Other shoppers are loving how stylish these rain boots are, one saying how they get compliments even while running errands, an activity we don’t typically dress up for. No dressing up necessary! Just pull on these boots and it’s done for us. Another shopper said the unthinkable, which is that they now “can’t wait for it to rain!”
One reason these rain boots have so many five star reviews is because they’re actually fashionable. No, really! Instead of the traditional super-shiny, squeaky finish we expect from other rubber boots, these Shelby boots have a trendy matte finish. Don’t worry though, because they are still waterproof and a safe bet for strutting through puddles in. We’re not quite the parkour masters we’d like to be when we’re doing the most to avoid getting our sneakers or heels wet, so this is easily the best choice for us in the rain!
Speaking of heels, this rain boot actually has one! We’re not talking stilettos here, but it’s still enough of a boost to truly make a difference in our look. The one-inch heel is accompanied by a short matching platform toward the front of the sole, and both are made to provide traction so we aren’t sliding around the sidewalks like we’re on waterskis.
Another little embellishment is the silver-toned Ugg logo button charm toward the top of the boot, which hits mid-calf. This way we can prove to everyone that, that’s right, Ugg doesn’t only make one type of shoe!
As one shopper put it, Ugg boots are “the most comfortable boots ever made,” and that includes these Shelby boots! Along with the soft and cozy shearling, these boots also come with a removable insole so we can achieve maximum comfort in our own way.
These boots are currently available in four colors. To keep it classic, timeless and forever-flattering, we can go with Black. For the tiniest hint of color, there’s Olive, which is a deep, dark, luscious green. Alternatively, we can head a bluer route and go with Navy instead. Last is Garnet, which is a dark, ruby red that offers a super subtle pop to our outfits when everything surrounding us is giving off vibes of doom and gloom.
Another popular feature of this boot isn’t something we can see, but something we can experience, instead. Shoppers have gone out of their way to comment on just how easy these boots are to put on and take off! We don’t need to struggle with that when we’re already carrying an umbrella and are bundled up in so many layers we can hardly bend down to use our hands. It’s something that, when we think about it, is an issue with a lot of our shoes that causes us so much annoyance which is ultimately unavoidable with a shoe like this!
