Step in the name of love—and matching style!
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder were spotted out and about in L.A.’s Venice neighborhood on Monday, April 6, working coordinated ensembles, including matching fedoras!
The Vampire Diaries actor, 36, who proposed to Reed this past January with a floral-style diamond halo engagement ring, sported a heather gray tee, slim-fit dark jeans, and a white hat. Embracing his inner James Dean, he carried his leather jacket slung over one shoulder.
Meanwhile, his fiancee, 26, worked a white top (with a black bra peeking through), a long black blazer, and skinny jeans. She topped it all off with a black hat, completing a breezy style that matched her beau’s.
Earlier this month, the newlyweds-to-be visited Emory University (on behalf of Chevrolet) in Atlanta, where they taught a class on marketing. Sharing a photo of himself with his love and the students, Somerhalder captioned the pic, “Teaching is as much about listening as it is about talking. We learn from you guys, truly. Identifying your skills, your passions, and then marrying the two is the key to success—to the future.”
Hours before the daytime stroll, Somerhalder’s costar and ex-girlfriend of three years, Nina Dobrev, announced that the sixth season of The Vampire Diaries will be her last. “I always knew I wanted Elena’s story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime,” the actress, 26, wrote via Instagram.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower star added, “Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soul mates, and I myself made some of the best friends I’ll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever.”
