Sexy sailor! Kylie Jenner just unveiled the theme of her latest Kylie Cosmetics collection and it’s unlike anything she’s done before.
On Thursday, August 20, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to her Instagram Story to show off her latest sailor-themed launch. Naturally, she took the whole thing to a whole other level, dressing up as the hottest sailor when sharing a throwback videos from the shoot.
In the series of clips, the reality star transformed into a 1950’s pinup in some steamy nautical attire, wearing a skin-tight red, white and blue onesie. With her hair in big soft waves and her makeup glamorously beautiful, the 23-year-old beauty mogul stuns in her playful get-up.
As it turns out, this is actually the look seen on the product’s packaging. When showcasing an up-close shot of the goodies, this Bettie Page-version of Jenner appears in cartoon form. Patriotic stripes, anchors and other theme-perfect symbols also make up the pretty packaging.
The launch houses tons of makeup must-haves, from an eyeshadow stick duo to the Kiss Me Sailor Lip Kit to fabulous false lashes. “I am so excited to introduce my first lash,” she says in one of the Instagram Story videos. “Ever since quarantine started, I have been wearing no lash extensions. I have been experimenting a lot with strips again and individuals. And these are everything.”
The entire line will be available to shop on kyliecosmetics.com on Monday, August 31.
Before this, the Lip Kit creator teamed up with her sister Kendall for their first ever beauty collab. On Saturday, June 20, the brand dropped the promo video for the highly anticipated collection. “Wow wow wow 🖤 can’t believe i’m finally announcing my next collection for @kyliecosmetics .. and it’s with my SOULMATE @kendalljenner,” Kylie wrote in an Instagram caption accompanying the video. “We have been dreaming this up for quite some time so i hope you guys love it!”
Just like a lot of her launches, the line sold out almost immediately.
