Salt-and-pepper hair is having a moment — so much so, that we’re calling it as the most buzzworthy men’s hair color of 2020. Logan Lerman is the latest star to embrace the look and the internet is wildly obsessed.
On Monday, August 31, the 28-year-old’s girlfriend, Ana Corrigan, posted a photo of Lerman and his shaggy locks to her Instagram Story. In the pic, the Perks of Being a Wallflower actor gazes back at the camera while outdoors, wearing a casual T-shirt with his protective face mask hanging off of one ear.
But the obvious focal point of the snap is Lerman’s long hair, which falls to the base of his neck. The actor’s signature dark brown hair is speckled with grays and he’s in the beginning stages of a beard.
Lerman’s fans are collectively freaking out over his new look. “THE WAY MY HEART ACTUALLY STOPPED,” one ecstatic Twitter user said after seeing the pic on Corrigan’s Instagram Story. “LOGAN LERMAN WITH GREY HAIR IS A BLESSING.”
Others have admitted that they feel better about their own gray hair after seeing the A-lister celebrating his natural strands. “Logan Lerman rocking gray hair really makes me feel better about my own stray grays,” one fan wrote. “Thank u logan.”
And some are so impressed by his piecy texture that they’re insistent upon knowing what he used to get the look. “I just wanna know what products Logan Lerman uses for his hair it’s so gorgeous,” one person tweeted.
The California native isn’t the only one who’s embraced salt-and-pepper hair or facial hair amid the coronavirus pandemic. This past April, Kevin Hart posted a video while self-isolating at home, surprising fans with grays.
In the caption, he wrote, “I have always had a shit load of gray hair…I was just a frequent dyer …I’m not working right now so I said F–K IT .”
