If Priyanka Chopra’s bridal shower frock is any indication, the Quantico star’s wedding dress is going to be a major situation (not that we could doubt that fact). The actress, who got engaged to Nick Jonas over the summer, celebrated her bridal shower on Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Box Cafe in New York City, and she did so in a Marchesa confection that seriously raised the bar for what her actual wedding gown will look like.
Chopra’s strapless column gown from the whimsical and feminine couturier had a wrapped satin bodice, with a half-brocade-half feathered skirt that made the ultimate in girly, bridal statements. Of course, Chopra is known for her ultra-quirky-yet-sexy outfit choices and always favors making a statement whether through prints or colors, so this Marchesa gown was more than the sensible choice.
Because the figure-hugging gown made such a statement, Chopra (who is styled by Mimi Cutrell), kept the rest of her I’m-a-bride-to-be moment simple. The hem of her gown cut off to reveal nude patent Christian Louboutin pumps and she carried a champagne sparkling clutch for the affair. Adding to the overall chicness was the fact that Chopra went with simple, glossy and unfussy hair for the celebration and kept her facebeat natural for the affair too.
The finishing touch: a Tiffany choker to match her engagement ring that Jonas reportedly shut down a store for over the summer.
