So relatable! Rachael Leigh Cook is just like Us and maybe has a few style regrets from her younger years.

The 40-year-old actress sat down with Us Weekly to walk Us through some of her most memorable looks for our Fashion Police Series. Though they aren’t all bad — like the overalls and button-up she wears in She’s All That — there are others that are very questionable.

This includes a look she wore to a Tommy Hilfiger event. “Those pants do have beaded fringe down the side,” she says. “And maybe Tommy should explain that and not me. Because that makes me the messenger when you think about it.”

Possibly our favorite though, is a pant ensemble featuring a lacy red cami and matching beanie that she wore to the Bowfinger premiere in 1999. “You know what, I still weirdly feel ok about this look. My mom made that hat. It’s knitted, it looks like a strawberry, there’s an actual stem on the back.” But don’t worry, she’s totally kidding!

“I take it back, I regret everything.”

Though she clearly made some bold choices, she explains that at one point she wasn’t really aware that people were supposed to dress up for events. “I didn’t get the memo.” During this point, she could be seen in a simple pair of jeans with a denim jacket and scarf. However, when she eventually realized she was expected to bring her fashion A-game, she may have taken it a little too far.

“This is after I did get that memo,” she explains alongside an outfit complete with an off-the-shoulder leopard print top with a black feather boa. Because, why not?
