Merry Christmas 2013! As millions around the world tear open presents underneath the tree, show off their crafty creations, feast on turkey, homemade cookies and soak up quality family time on Dec. 25, celebs are, well, doing pretty much the same thing! Find out what some of Us Weekly’s favorite celebrities are doing with their loved ones to mark the special day this year.

Fergie: “My mom is making her famous lasagna, which is the comfort food. It’s turkey lasagna, so it’s not as guilty, but it really is because of how much I eat of it. So we’re having that and a lot of good wine from our family wine, Ferguson Crest, and we get really loud!”

Busy Philipps: “Crafting and cookies are like our two fave traditions. We have a million. We do traditional sugar cut-out cookies. We do something called Crescent Cookies, which are chilled refrigerator cookies with pecans. They’re a nut-based cookie and you roll them in powdered sugar and they’re delicious. And then I always love making – with Kellogg’s Corn Flakes – marshmallow wreathes.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar: “We just moved into our new house and we just decorated the outside of it. Every year we do personalized ornaments that the kids make and pictures of the kids and stuff. Every year we come see Santa and put ornaments on the tree that we make.”

Molly Ringwald: “Choosing the Christmas is always a big family deal. We have a spot we got to every year, which we go to since we first came here. Since [daughter] Matilda was four. I like the big tree. It’s usually a little bit of a negotiation though. Usually Matilda wants one tree; I want another tree.”

Nicole Richie: “Christmas is my favorite holiday so I really take the reigns. Growing up, my house was a Christmas dream world and I make my house the same way. The whole family goes the day after Thanksgiving to pick out a tree and the Thanksgiving decorations go out and Christmas goes all in. Mariah is blasting through the speakers. It makes it more fun for me because now (with kids Harlow and Sparrow) because I don’t look like a psycho who’s just decorating her home to the extreme, because I’ve been doing that since before I had kids.”

Christina Aguilera: “Vacation…family…foot rubs! We need spa days. Turkey —  I’m not holding back! I’m kicking my feet up, enjoying my son and getting away from this environment of work to just put sweatpants on, wipe my makeup off and be normal.”

LeAnn Rimes: “We did a big Thanksgiving and very fancy Thanksgiving.  This is going to be totally chill. But we have our whole house decorated, Santa threw up on the outside.  And, we’ll have the kids (her stepsons Mason and Jake) on Christmas evening.  It’s always kind of chaotic having them around.  They rip through everything.  I find paper and glitter like months laters.  It’s nice to just be home with our family.”

Blake Shelton: “I actually took the time to hang some Christmas lights this year and it was one of those deals where, as I was doing it, I kept checking with [my wife] Miranda [Lambert]. I was like, ‘Hey, does this look right? Is this normal?’ And she was like, ‘Yes! It’s fine. It’s fine!’ So I ended up making like a big square and that’s all it was but she was like, ‘Yes, please, it’s fine.’ The only tradition is that we go down to her hometown in Lindale, Texas and spend a couple of days with her family and then we’ll have Christmas in Oklahoma with my family. We do it every year and I actually really look forward to it all year long. It’s fine. It’s just no pressure, no thinking, just hanging out and having fun.”

I’m going to go home to my family in Nashville. Then I’m going to go to the Caymans on Christmas with my family. Starting a little bit of a tradition.”

Jenna Dewan-Tatum “[Baby Everly is] going to be so spoiled, oh my goodness. [Channing Tatum and I] are really looking forward to it. The funny thing is she’s probably going to care less about the toy and more about the box and the wrapping paper. It’s about starting new family traditions and that’s something I’m really excited about is thinking ‘okay what are our family traditions going to be?’ And thinking about that. Growing up, we always opened one present on Christmas Eve which was always really fun. We’d open presents like really early in the morning and then we’d watch a movie together that night, like a Christmas movie, And little things, like, things in stockings that are always there and we’d always get Christmas pajamas, and just little things that you always get. I’d like to keep those and create new ones too.”
