Khloé Kardashian took to Instagram to share an inspiring message to her 41.6 million followers on Sunday, February 7.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted a photo of a quote, reading, “You may have had unfair things happen, but know that the depth of your pain is an indication of the height of your future.”
Kardashian, 31, captioned the image with a long message of her own. She wrote, “Everything happens for a reason… Right?! I’m a firm believer of this saying. We may not understand why we have to walk a certain path or why when it rains, it pours but trust that God has a plan. ‘Walk by faith, not by sight.’”
She added, “We must lose in order to gain. Lessons are best taught through our darkest hour. Through crying and defeat. Through sorrow and loss. All of my pain or sadness has only built my strength, soul, character and wisdom. One day, all of our trials and tribulations will add up and make perfect sense. Until that day comes, learn to laugh at confusion and dance in the rain.”
The reality star ended the lengthy caption with a quote from the Bible, reading, “‘The pain that you have been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming’ Romans 8:18”
The reality star previously described 2015 as the "worst year of my life" as she dealt with estranged husband Lamar Odom's hospitalization after he was found unconscious following a drug overdose. She also battled a nasty staph infection that left her quarantined at home for several days.
On Saturday, February 6, Kardashian shared a black-and-white shot of her younger sister Kylie Jenner on Instagram.
“Our fearlessness shall be our secret weapon,” she wrote to the 18-year-old model. “@kyliejenner, never forget that love is the greatest equalizer. I’ll love you equally in any lifetime.”
Kardashian also shared several nude images of herself in a swimming pool on Saturday night. The photos were taken during a family vacation in St. Bart's last August, and the Strong Looks Better Naked author proudly wrote in an Instagram caption that she was "channeling my best Marilyn Monroe" in the sexy snaps.
