After Bruce Jenner bared his soul and revealed to the world he’s been struggling with his identity for years during an interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday, April 24, nearly every celebrity reacted via social media — including Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kris Humphries. The NBA player's tweet, however, didn't receive a warm reception.
"Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou," the Washington Wizards star, 30, wrote, appearing to throw shade directly at the Kardashian family.

Humphries' tweet fell flat, with many pointing out that it was Kardashian who pulled the plug on their 72-day marriage in 2011. Their divorce was finalized in 2013 after a bitter court battle, during which the athlete filed for an annulment, claiming that the reality star had committed fraud while saying "I do." The couple eventually settled and Humphries lost his battle.
"Wait, didn't Kim divorce you tho? LOL," a fan tweeted at Humphries Friday night. Another added: "Don't worry boo! We're glad Kim filed for divorce and got you out of their lives too. They don't need your baggage."
The athlete, however, later clarified his comments about the Jenner patriarch and his decision to transition from a male to a female. "I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou," he tweeted Saturday. "Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across. #FullySupportBruce."
