Ain't no reunion like a Real Housewives of New York City reunion! Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill, LuAnn de Lesseps, Heather Thomson, and Kristen Taekman reunited in New York City on Tuesday, July 29, to talk about the end of season six of their Bravo show.
Hosted by Bravo's Andy Cohen, the ladies' reunion was as intense and dramatic as always, as the tiffs heated up and the craziest incidents from the season were addressed. Read three major moments from the reunion show below!
LuAnn Addresses Drag Queen Comparisons
De Lesseps once famously sang that "money can't buy you class"—a piece of wisdom that was highlighted this season, when Sonja and Ramona repeatedly compared the former Countess to a drag queen and a man. "Nobody calls me LuMan except for Sonja," she said on the reunion show. Once it was pointed out that Ramona has as well, de Lesseps countered, "I have much better names for Ramona and Sonja." De Lesseps did not take issue with the jibes, however. "If I didn't love drag queens so much, I'd be offended," she said.
Sonja Talks Financial Troubles, Faces Off Against LuAnn
Morgan's ongoing financial troubles were an issue of concern during this season of RHONY. With many side projects and financial endeavors, the cast members began to question the state of her income. "All of the concernings on camera have been asking me, 'What are you gonna do?' I can tell you, making a hundred-thousand dollars on a wine deal or a jewelry deal is not going to save my holdings that I've already made all these years," Morgan said. "I have to stay very focused on the 45 people that I'm paying—financial advisors, lawyers—I have to handle that." She went on to address the lack of hot water in her home, blaming it on the old construction, rather than her assumed lack of payment. Morgan stayed in the hot seat as the episode continued, receiving heat from de Lesseps, who said the show has changed her.
Aviva and Andy Bond Over Asthma, Housewives Take Inhaler Shots
Drescher's asthma became a hot topic over the course of the season, as many of the RHONY cast members thought she used it as an excuse, and even questioned if she really had asthma. "Through all of your skepticism, I have this wonderful internist… the internist to the Hollywood stars," Drescher explained. "He is the greatest doctor, and one of his most prominent patients is Andy Cohen." Cohen proceeded to whip out his inhaler, inspiring Singer to attempt to engage in a little puff-puff-pass with the medicine.
The drama is due to continue, too. The second part of the reunion is scheduled to air on Tuesday, Aug. 5, and the third portion will hit airwaves on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
