Matt Damon and Gary White co-founded non-profit Water.org, an organization pioneering innovative solutions to provide people across the world with access to safe water and sanitation. Water.org recently teamed up with Zynga.org to bring the precious resource of water to real communities and virtual farms. “I’m dedicated to raising global consciousness about the magnitude of this challenge and the solutions,” says Damon. “I have four girls of my own and I want them be proud of the impact I’m making in the world. We’re really excited about our partnership with Zynga. They are tapping into the power of their platform and players to deliver permanent and lasting change, teaching people the importance of water – both in real life and in the virtual world.”
