The film, costarring Allison Janney, Zac Efron, Queen Latifah, John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Brittany Snow and Nikki Blonsky, grossed more than $118 million. Later that year, Bynes created a clothing line for Steve & Barry's, called Dear by Amanda Bynes.
