So bromantic! Justin Theroux attended the Annual Free Arts NYC Art Auction in New York City on Wednesday, April 30, to support his best friend, tattoo artist Scott Campbell.
Campbell, who is married to actress Lake Bell, has tattooed Theroux many times over the years and the two have stayed close friends. Theroux spoke to Us Weekly exclusively at Wednesday's event, which was in honor of Campbell and was supported by designer Marc Jacobs.
Jennifer Aniston's hunky fiancé made a point of calling Campbell his "best friend" and told Us Weekly lovingly about his buddy, "It’s always exciting when you meet someone and you’ve known them for so long, and his art obviously speaks for itself. It’s wonderful, you know. It’s just, it’s fantastic! Both professionally and personally."
The artist made a point of expressing his own affection for Theroux during his speech at the event, which was sponsored by Saved Wines. "There are people in my life who believe in me—Marc Jacobs, Justin Theroux, Lake Bell," Campbell said. "They’re really important because there are times in my life when they believed in me more than I believed in me. It made me want to be the person that they think I am."
Some of Campbell's art is even on Theroux's body. The Wanderlust actor, 42, told Us about his tattoo work, "This man’s done my entire back. He’s actually done my entire body! He’s inked me more times than Us Weekly!"
Campbell, who is expecting his first child with Bell, may have also found more than just a client in his tatted-up best pal.
"Of course I will [babysit]!" Theroux told Us. "If they ask me to… but I don’t know if they trust me. I might drop it on its head."
