Ryan Gosling
Born November 12, 1980, Gosling spent his childhood in Canada before scoring his first gig on The Mickey Mouse Club opposite Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears at age 13. Following his two-year appearance on the children’s program, he was able to land various roles in other television series like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark? before making a name for himself as Noah Calhoun in 2004’s The Notebook.
Gosling later moved on to other prominent roles in films like Blue Valentine (2010), Half Nelson (2006) and Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) before starring in The Big Short and La La Land, the latter of which earned him a Golden Globe for Best Actor in 2017.
The Blade Runner star is also part of the band Dead Man’s Bones and co-owns the restaurant Tagine in Beverly Hills.
Gosling dated his Notebook costar Rachel McAdams for three years after filming the romantic drama, but the twosome called it quits in 2007. After brief relationships with Sandra Bullock and Kirsten Dunst, Gosling began dating Eva Mendes in 2011. The couple share two daughters: Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee.
