Elin Nordegren, a former model, was born in Stockholm, Sweden on January 1, 1980.

After moving to the United States she was eventually introduced to professional golfer, Tiger Woods. After a four year courtship, the couple married in 2004.  Together they have two children: a daughter named Sam, born in 2007, and a son, Charlie, born in 2009.

During Thanksgiving weekend in 2009, Woods crashed his car into a tree after Nordegren learned of his mistress, Rachel Uchitel, and allegedly woke him from an Ambien-induced slumber and attacked him with a golf club.

In the following weeks, Woods admitted to his marital infidelities. Fourteen alleged women have come forward, claiming to have an affair with the golfer.

Nordegren and her husband are working on mending their relationship as Woods completes his stay in a sex rehab clinic.
