Tom Holland

Tom Holland is an English actor best known for playing Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland was born and raised in London, where he attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. He trained in dance and developed an early interest in acting. He was discovered by a choreographer as a child and, in 2008, went on to make his West End debut in Billy Elliot the Musical, landing a supporting role before being promoted to the lead later that year.

After his stage success, Holland transitioned to film with 2012’s The Impossible opposite Naomi Watts, earning critical praise and several breakthrough nominations. His career reached new heights when he was cast as Peter Parker in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. He reprised the role in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) and Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026), as well as ensemble Marvel films including Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Beyond Marvel, the actor has starred in projects including The Devil All the Time (2020), Cherry (2021) and Uncharted (2022).

In 2021, Holland confirmed his relationship with Zendaya after sparking dating rumors with his Spider-Man costar. The pair got engaged in 2024, and he confirmed in 2026 that the two had quietly tied the knot.
