Kourtney Kardashian has posted plenty of nearly naked mirror selfies and bikini pics on her Instagram page. Now, she’s beating all of that with a fully nude shoot in the December issue of GQ Mexico.
The gorgeous, sexy photos taken by Michael Schwartz show the eldest Kardashian sister in various states of undress. In one horizontal shot, she poses sans clothes lying on her stomach; in another she sits up, showing off the side of her six-pack and her toned arms and legs while she covers her breast with her hand. In a black and white photo in which she wears just a turtleneck, she exposes her famous bare butt. As she tells the outlet in the accompanying, body positive cover story, “I think it’s important to expose positive images of our body.”
The 39-year-old works hard for her enviable form, with a combination of exercise and healthy eating. But her No. 1 secret to sexiness is confidence: “I am very comfortable in my own skin,” she tells the mag. “I like to be naked in my house.”
That isn’t to say the mom of three — Mason, 8, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 3 — doesn’t cave and listen to the haters sometimes. “There are moments when I care about what people say and others when I don’t at all,” she reveals. “I have to constantly practice self-confidence and remind myself that negative comments come from people who don’t really know me and are not in my situation.”
When it comes to her priorities, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star tells GQ, “Being a mother to me is the most important thing because it’s what’s in my heart.” But fitness is a close second. “Then I would say exercising,” she says. “Not only for my body, but because it does my mind a lot of good.”
While traveling comes in third place — “it feeds my soul” — nutrition is next. “I used to do very specific diets,” she says. “I learned something from all of them and incorporated them into my lifestyle. But I’m not so strict anymore.”
And though the Calvin Klein model may be in the best shape of her life, physical beauty isn’t her only goal. “Women have become more strong and powerful,” she says. “For example, this movement about celebrating our bodies has helped us love ourselves as we are, instead of trying to be something different.”
