Amber Portwood holds Gary Shirley's newborn daughter Emilee days after her birth.
What a difference time makes! On Thursday, April 30, Gary Shirley welcomed his second daughter, Emilee Grace Shirley, with his current girlfriend Kristina. And one of little Emilee’s first visitors was none other than her dad’s famous ex, Amber Portwood.

The Teen Mom OG star stopped by the hospital to pick up their daughter Leah, and took some time to cradle Shirley’s newborn.
“Thank you to @AmberLPortwood for picking up @leah_leann and holding the baby briefly! Kind of you!” Shirley tweeted along with a photo of baby Emilee in Portwood’s arms.

The reality star replied on Twitter, “Of course..i wouldn’t miss out on booboo time..congrats on the little angel..sending love @ItsGaryTime @leah_leann.”
The "Heartbreaker" singer was arrested in Miami Beach early on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, on suspicion of drag racing, DUI and driving with an expired license. A police report stated that he resisted without violence before being taken into custody.
This marks a big step forward for the tumultuous couple, whose on-again-off-again romance was often hostile and violent on the MTV series. After Portwood served 17 months in jail, leaving Leah in Shirley’s care, the pair were done for good. He met Kristina and they found out she had gotten pregnant during the filming of Teen Mom OG.

New big sis Leah also got a turn holding her sibling, with Shirley posting the picture on Twitter, writing, “20 min after she was born! My sweet sweet Lil Emilee!”
These days the condom designer is enjoying time with his girls, and Portwood is engaged to her new beau Matt Baier. She introduced her new fiancé, who is 19 years her senior, on a recent episode of Teen Mom OG.
“This is a different relationship than Gary. We have a lot more in common, past-wise,” Portwood said of her new love on the show. “And he’s a lot older, which makes it a lot better because he’s more mature.”
