Birthday boys! Britney Spears celebrated both her sons Sean Preston and Jayden’s big days on Saturday, September 12.
“My two lil men’s birthdays are this week!!!!!!” the singer, 38, captioned a nature shot via Instagram. “You guys are getting older and so big and are waaay cooler than me !!!!! I love you both to the moon and back and I hope all of your bday wishes come true and more !!!!!”
The Grammy winner welcomed Sean Preston and Jayden in 2005 and 2006, respectively, with her then-husband, Kevin Federline. The former couple’s eldest turned 15 on September 14, while his little brother turned 14 two days prior.
While celebrating her sons’ birthdays last year, the actress posted a throwback paparazzi photo via Instagram.“Oh how they’ve grown! Mamma loves you guys very very much !!!!” Britney captioned the social media upload in September 2019. “May you get all your bday wishes and more.”
That same month, a judge ruled that the Mississippi native could have her sons 30 percent of the time after previously splitting custody 50-50 with the DJ, 42. “Britney’s goal in the new year is to go to family court and petition the judge for increased custody time with the boys,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly three months later.
The “Toxic” singer’s brother, Bryan Spears, confirmed in July that Sean Preston and Jayden are currently living with Federline. They’re “good” and “growing,” he said during an “As Not Seen on TV” podcast episode.
After Britney traveled home to Louisiana to see family earlier this amid the coronavirus pandemic, Federline made her self-isolate before seeing the little ones, multiple sources confirmed to Us at the time. “Britney had no problem with Kevin’s request and understood why he asked,” one insider explained. “The boys have been with their dad for most of quarantine.”
She and the California native tied the knot in 2004 and split three years later. Since 2008, Britney has been under a conservatorship, which bars her from making personal and financial decisions without the approval of her court-appointed guardians. The case took a turn in recent years with the Princess of Pop taking steps toward ending the legal arrangement. She has been dating personal trainer Sam Asghari since 2016.
