Although the Duchess of Sussex, 37, told well-wishers in Birkenhead, England, in January that she was due in “late April or early May,” a representative for Buckingham Palace told CBS News on the morning of Thursday, May 2, that the infant “hasn’t been born yet.”

This comes nearly a month after the pair, who tied the knot in May 2018, confirmed they would be keeping their baby’s arrival under wraps.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” Buckingham Palace wrote in an April statement. “Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The duke and duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

The last time the Suits alum gave an update on her due date was in March when she spoke with Welsh Secretary of State, Alun Cairns. “We’re nearly there!” the former actress said at the time.

The Duke of Sussex’s upcoming trip, though, hints that his wife will give birth any day now. “Prince Harry will visit The Netherlands on May 8 and 9 (unless Baby Sussex arrives that late!),” royal commentator Omid Scobie wrote via Twitter on Wednesday, May 1. “While there he will undertake an engagement in Amsterdam (details TBA) and then travel to The Hague to launch the one year countdown to @WeAreInvictus Games The Hague 2020.”

He added: “It’s worth noting that this @invictusGamesNL trip has been in the works since last year. And if Harry has to go away for one night just after the birth, Meghan has mom Doria by her side (and other visitors soon-to-be en route!).”
