Seeing the bigger picture. One month after ex Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal, Khloé Kardashian‘s 11-month-old daughter, True, is helping the reality star put the betrayal into perspective.
“Baby True made it all worth it,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 34, tweeted on Monday, March 18.
The former Kocktails With Khloé host wrote this in response to a fan’s supportive message. “I genuinely hope @khloekardashian meets someone one day that treats her with the respect she deserves,” the social media user wrote. “She’s been through more shiddy [sic] relationships than any one person deserves. At least she got baby True.”
Kardashian continued to gush about her little one in other tweets, writing, “She is my heart and soul,” and, “I get so excited for every little day with her.”
Thompson, 28, and the Revenge Body host welcomed their daughter in April 2018, just days after news broke that the Cleveland Cavaliers player had cheated on his girlfriend with multiple women. In February 2019, Us Weekly confirmed that the NBA athlete had cheated on Kardashian again — this time with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods.
The Strong Looks Better Naked author split from Thompson after his second betrayal, but a source told Us exclusively that she was “doing her best to keep them on good terms” as they worked to coparent their daughter.
The insider added: “[Her pain is] more a disappointment about what never will be for True. Khloé stayed with Tristan because of True, hoping to be a family forever.”
Kardashian elaborated on this in a tweet on Saturday, March 16. “He is a good dad to her,” the reality star wrote. “My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
