The 37-year-old former actress, who welcomed her first child with Prince Harry on May 6, stepped out at the annual Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday, June 8. Meghan looked gorgeous for Queen Elizabeth II’s 93rd birthday celebration in a navy blue ensemble by the same stylist who designed her wedding dress, Clare Waight Keller. She also rocked a matching hat.

The Duchess of Sussex rode in a carriage with Harry, 34, Duchess Camilla and Duchess Kate on Sunday. She then joined members of the royal family, including Kate and Prince William’s children — Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 13 months — on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

“Meghan loved seeing all the other royal children and was doting on them,” the insider reveals to Us, noting that the Suits alum played with the kids “throughout the day.”

While Saturday marked Meghan’s first public appearance since welcoming Archie, Harry traveled to Italy for an overnight engagement — the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup — last month after his son’s arrival. During the event, the prince beamed while he played polo for his African kids’ charity, Sentebale. According to a source, however, Harry also had trouble leaving Archie for work.

“Harry left for Italy and it was very difficult for him to leave Archie and Meghan,” the source told Us. “He wants to spend every second he can with them.”
