“But his songs are bigger than either of us,” the Cravings author told the crowd. Keeping the censors on their toes, she continued, “And on the heels of what’s been a really interesting, f–ked up election for all of us, I think we could all use a little more love.”

After that bleeped-out moment, Legend then began his set and belted out the emotional song as images of diverse families and couples expressing love flashed behind him on the screen — a clear response to the anti-LGBT, anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant and racist rhetoric President-elect Donald Trump engaged in during his controversial campaign.

Teigen — who vocally supported the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton – has been explicit about not being a fan of the ex–Celebrity Apprentice host turned politician, 70.

Teigen, who has repeatedly taken aim at Trump via social media, most recently spoke out against the future POTUS after he tweeted Saturday, November 19, that cast members of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton were being rude to Vice President–elect Mike Pence, and demanded that they apologize to his second-in-command.

“Donald is sensitive enough to actually seek out a way to punish/get back at anyone who dare criticize him,” she wrote November 19. “That’s such a sad thought. Donald knows very well what he is doing. He knows the Hamilton speech was NBD. He knows his tweet will fire both sides up to distract from the 25 million dollar settlement of yesterday. Most conniving human on planet earth.”
