“He feels like he didn’t do anything wrong in terms of the Coachella/Gummy drama,” the source notes, referring to Charles promoting Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins after the music festival via Instagram after refusing to advertise Westbrook’s competing supplement brand, Halo Beauty.

Charles made headlines on Friday, May 10, after his longtime mentor ended their friendship in a 43-minute tell-all video.

“I’m crushed because this person was family to me. This person was someone that I absolutely loved, cared for and would have spent all the time in the world protecting,” Westbrook, 37, told her subscribers. “But he’s just too far gone at this point and the behavior that I don’t even think I can talk about … are so gross, that I don’t think I can protect that.”

Shortly after Westbrook’s “BYE SISTER” video starting gaining traction online, the first male CoverGirl spokesperson apologized in his own video titled, “Tati.”

“There’s nothing I can say or do to ever earn that friendship or trust back,” he said in the eight-minute video. “I’m sorry for everything that is going on, everything that I’ve put you through over the past few weeks.”

In the following days, Charles has lost nearly 3 million subscribers — while Westbrook’s follower count continues to rise. On Monday, May 14, fans noticed that Charles’ online merchandise store, Sisters Apparel, was seemingly taken down. The URL, Sisters-Apparel.com, redirects users to the influencer’s YouTube page instead of giving fans the opportunity to buy merch with the Sisters logo.

Fellow beauty guru Jeffree Star’s company, Killer Merch, distributes Sisters Apparel. Star, who has been friendly with both Charles and Westbrook in the past, publicly supported the Halo Beauty CEO amid the feud.

“There is a reason that [boyfriend] Nathan [Schwandt] banned James Charles from ever coming over to our home again,” the 33-year-old wrote in a since-deleted tweet on Sunday, May 12. “There’s a reason why I haven’t seen him since @GlamLifeGuru’s birthday in February. He is a danger to society. Everything Tati said is 100% true.”
