Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Will Celebrate 20th Wedding Anniversary ‘In Sweats, Binge Watching TV’

Hate to break it you, but Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are all the relationship goals you aspire to have.

For their 20th wedding anniversary, Thursday, October 6, country music’s king and queen, both 49, are hitting the … couch. “We are going to be in sweats, binge watching TV,” Hill told Us Weekly at Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, October 5.

Chimed in her husband, “I want corn bread and peas!”

The pair, who wed in his hometown of Rayville, Louisiana, in 1996, are impressed they’ve managed to keep their relationship strong — and that they’ve outlasted other celebrity romances. “It’s an accomplishment,” McGraw said. “In our business, it’s really probably like 80 years. You know, it’s like I look at it as dog years!”

Give them 80 more years and the superstars will still be gushing about each other. After the “Humble and Kind” crooner told his wife “you’re pretty sexy,” at the event, she shared the secret to marital success.

“You just got to have fun. You know, laughter is sexy,” said “The Way You Love Me” singer. “Sometimes, in the midst of craziness, everyone gets in an argument. That’s part of growing as humans. That’s part of growing as a couple. You just have to let some things roll off your shoulders and just move on and keep going holding hands. You’re climbing up the mountain together. You just have to have a little fun. We just kind of are guests here on this earth and we just really should enjoy it.”

Right now, the The Voice’s season 11 key advisers are trying to learn how to be empty nesters — sort of. With kids Gracie, 19, and Maggie, 18, away at college, youngest Audrey, 14, is the only daughter at home. “We haven’t gotten used to it,” confessed McGraw. “It’s an adjustment. It was tough when Gracie moved out. The week we were out taking Maggie and moving her into her dorm, it was hard for Faith and I to even sort of talk about it. We sort of ignored the subject. Although I think Audrey’s kind of enjoying it.”

Added Hill, “Oh yeah, she’s in heaven! She loves her sisters, but she’s liking it, for sure.”
