Will Arnett is moving on, legally speaking, from his marriage to estranged wife Amy Poehler. The Arrested Development actor, 43, has officially filed for divorce, TMZ reports — 19 months after Us Weekly exclusively broke news of the couple’s separation.
According to TMZ, CBS’ The Millers star is requesting joint legal and physical custody of his two young sons with the Parks and Recreation actress, Archie, 5, and Abel, 3. He also wants visitation rights.
Married since August 2003, Arnett and Poehler separated amicably in September 2012. In the time since, both have been linked with other people. Arnett briefly dated celeb chef Katie Lee and then stepped out in December with producer Erin David, while Poehler, 42, has been in a relationship with comedian Nick Kroll since May 2013.
“She was looking for a guy like him,” a source says of Kroll, creator and star of Comedy Central’s Kroll Show. “She wanted a comedian who ‘gets’ her.”
