Holmes announced their engagement on October 14. That same month, Rudy Mancuso proposed to Riverdale alum Camila Mendes after three years of dating. In November, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania got engaged to boyfriend Paulie Connell.

One month later, news broke that Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando got engaged after four years of dating. That same month, Jordyn Woods and NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns confirmed their engagement on Christmas Day. Days after Christmas, Southern Charm’s Naomie Olindo announced her engagement to Billy Haire.

Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo announced her engagement to Brooks Nader’s ex Billy Haire on December 28. “The luckiest girl in the whole wide world,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside photos from the proposal.

Brandi Cyrus announced on December 26 that she and Matt Southcombe were engaged.

Young Thug proposed to girlfriend Mariah the Scientist after four years of dating on December 16. The rapper popped the question to the singer-songwriter while onstage during his Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends benefit concert at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

"Guess I'm getting married!" Mariah the Scientist told the crowd after Young Thug got down on one knee with a screen behind him reading, “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania announced her engagement to Paulie Connell on November 12 after nearly five years together.

“I’m ecstatic!” she told People. “You know when you feel that happiness down in your gut? That’s where this excitement stems from for me. I feel so blessed, I almost feel guilty! Like I don’t deserve to be loved this way.”

Meanwhile, Connell told the outlet that Catania deserves “so much more” than she thinks. 

“She’s an incredible woman,” he noted. “And when I was proposing to her, I was able to articulate to her everything I see that she is, and everything I see that she does, and the impact she has on everybody around her. She’s one in a million.”

The McBee Dynasty star Cole McBee got engaged to Kacie Adkison on November 7, with their 10-month-old daughter, Blair, having a part in the special moment, the couple told People. 

"I had no idea. I thought we were just going to dinner, and when I was walking outside, I thought I was being pranked. I realized it wasn't a prank when I saw Cole and Blair walk out, and the whole trail up to the gazebo was covered in flowers," Adkison said. "I wanted a lot of flowers included in my proposal. I was very happy and very shocked."

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes announced their engagement three years after their romance first made headlines in 2022. 

“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach said during the October 14 episode of their “Amy & T.J.” podcast. “We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now.”

Robach and Holmes were first spotted together in November 2022 while they were both married to other people. (They have since both finalized divorces from exes Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, respectively.) Us confirmed in December 2022 that the pair were “out” of GMA3 amid their alleged cheating scandal. However, one year later, Robach and Holmes claimed on their podcast that they had both been separated from their spouses when their relationship began.

Nelson and Foster became first-time parents to twin daughters Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster in May. Nelson gave birth to the twins early amid complications from a high-risk pregnancy, followed by a three-week stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Nelson and Foster brought their babies home for the first time in June.

Daniel Neeson, the youngest son of Liam Neeson proposed to Natalie Ackerman, his girlfriend of eight years on September 6, as reported by People the following day. 

Daniel, whose mother is the late Natasha Richardson, popped the question on a New York City sailboat cruise before telling the outlet about his plans to settle down with his “best friend.” (Richardson died in 2009 at the age of 45 after a skiing accident.) 

Photos of the moment captured the pair’s magical offshore moment. “I could write novels on why I love Natalie, but there’s something deeper, something so cosmic about our relationship that I know we’re meant to be in this universe together,” said Daniel, who is the younger brother of Neeson’s other son with Richardson, Micheál.

Love Island U.K. winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare announced their engagement while on vacation in Dubai on September 4. Tom put together an elaborate proposal that included popping the question on a rose petal-lined walkway in front of a giant heart-shaped bouquet of white roses.

Molly and Tom originally competed on different seasons of Love Island U.K. — seasons 6 and 9, respectively — before falling for each other and winning the first-ever Love Island All Stars in 2024. Many Love Island favorites congratulated the couple on their engagement.
