Off the market? The couple first teased their potential pairing in an Instagram selfie, which Jamil captioned: “Birthday photobooth fun in LA.” Though she didn’t tag him in the blurry shot, more low-key appearances of Blake started popping up on the actress’ Instagram page, including a snap of the singer from behind as he sat in a recording studio.

Surprise! Jamil and Blake chose to make their romance Instagram official as they celebrate their first anniversary with a sweet post on December 31, 2015. “A year spent with my favourite person in the world. Happy New Year everyone,” she captioned the selfie, which featured the pair hiding their faces with their hands.

August 2017

Jamil documented their trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, by posting a romantic shot of the duo looking out at the U.K. city as they sat on a hill. The singer was pictured lovingly kissing his girlfriend on the cheek and the actress captioned the moment: “Arthur has a strong seat.”

A true gentleman! After Jamil’s flight landed, she revealed on Instagram that her sweet beau had ordered car service for her. “He’s in another country but he sent me a surprise car to pick me up from the airport because he knew I would be tired and cold,” she wrote. “Disgusting. He is the best.”

In a rare moment of personal reflection, Jamil addressed her relationship with Blake to Red magazine, where she admitted to “accidentally” falling in love with him. “I met so many ego-maniacs in my time at T4 and Radio 1 who are in this industry and to find a really good egg, who was well raised and doesn’t think he's God's gift to earth, is really cool,” she said. When Blake spoke to Dazed magazine, he praised Jamil for teaching him to be more outspoken. “It feels good now to just be able to tell people how I feel. I think it’s because I met my girlfriend and there was no room for pretense,” he admitted. “She speaks her mind. It was like, ‘Tell me how you feel.
