Biography:
Jameela Jamil is a British actress, model and former radio DJ. After a breast cancer scare in 2016, she moved to the U.S. to become a screenwriter. Shortly after, she was cast as Tahani Al-Jamil on The Good Place.
As a body-positive activist, Jamil founded the I Weigh movement in 2018 and was named an #AerieReal Role Model in 2019.
