In 2016, the “Tiny Dancer” singer topped the U.K.’s Sunday Times Giving List for donating a total of $38 million to different charities. His own Elton John Foundation, created in 1993, is a grant-making organization that is “committed to [overcoming] the stigma, discrimination and neglect that keeps us from ending AIDS.”
